We deliver your order to the city limits of Munich and beyond on request, or you can pick up your order at the sansaro restaurant in Maxvorstadt, directly behind the LMU.

Current info about our delivery service:
- Our amount of fresh fish and seasoned rice that we can stock and prepare daily is limited, and we are first and foremost a restaurant that needs and wants to take care of our local guests.
- Therefore it happens more often that we sold out early are! This is not a sign of a lack of preparation, but the result of a demand for quality. Please order in advance! Ideally, this means 1-2 days in advance – but nOf course, we will also try to fulfill shorter-term orders for you whenever possible. If you are unable to order online, please call us to inquire.
- We are now known not only for our excellent sushi, but also for our changing seasonal menus. Unfortunately, these are not available for delivery or take-out, so please visit us in the sansaro restaurant.
Tips & basic information about the delivery service:
- Starting in December 2025, an external partner will deliver our orders on a trial basis. This will make it cheaper and faster for you—but please let us know if the sushi arrives safely!
- If, contrary to expectations, you can not order online (more), please call through - sometimes the system plays a trick on us and sometimes the rice is simply so scarce after many orders that we can only take further orders after consultation with the cooks or, for example, only Sashimi and can offer warm cuisine. Thank you.
- Tip for the webshop: first login/enter address, then select products!
- The Vouchers for our restaurant (e.g. from Yovite) are unfortunately not compatible with our delivery store. You can either save these vouchers for a visit to the restaurant or order them by phone and have them redeemed on site when you pick them up (!).
- Please understand that we cannot compete in price with the pizza wok sushi delivery service around your corner. Our sushi is made with quality ingredients (and As much organic as possible) made by well-trained Japanese chefs. Unfortunately, this takes time and comes at a price. We provide you with high-quality food, not the cheapest stuff we can find. We also offer no "Show Sushi", which looks particularly colorful and creative, but is actually just snipped together by semi-skilled helpers according to construction kit and covered with thick sauces and intense flavors...
- For special opportunities contact us directly for a Catering on Japanese tableware, on request with wine, whisky or Sake-Accompaniment.
Delivery service & online ordering
Our sushi has been prepared by trained Japanese chefs since 2007. Every day, in the center of the Amalienpassage in Munich's Maxvorstadt district, we offer a level of quality that is significantly different from that of a delivery service—and most sushi restaurants outside Japan. The sansaro restaurant is known for its special seasonal menus and tasting events for Japanese sake and Japanese whiskey.
We want to deliver the beautiful experience of dining with us to your home as much as possible. And of course every sushi is handmade by our Japanese chefs at sansaro restaurant. We can also deliver larger orders by arrangement on our beautiful Japanese plates as in a business catering.
Sake at reasonable take out prices
You can enjoy our sushi especially Japanese at home, if you treat yourself to one of our fine sakes! You can also find our sake selection in our webshop, of course the sake is available there at favorable take-out prices. Use the small bottles with 0,18l or 0,30l for tasting - of course we are happy to advise you! You can also find more detailed descriptions in our beverage menu.
