Sake Tasting Event on November 1, 2018 with Yoshiko Ueno-Müller

Our tasting events have enjoyed great popularity for a good two years now - we combine fine Japanese drinks with exclusive appetizers. On November 1, 2018, All Saints' Day, the sansaro restaurant will once again host a tasting on the theme of sake, the Japanese rice wine.

Expert introduction to the topic "Japanese sake

On November 1, 2018, the time has finally come again: Ms. Yoshiko Ueno-Müller will come to Munich to introduce the topic of "sake" to all lovers of fine Japanese flavors. Japanese sake is often known to us only as hot rice liquor. But it has Sake actually nothing to do with schnapps - much more with wine.

In our tasting event, Ms. Ueno-Müller guides us through the world of Japanese sake, tasting some outstanding varieties with us and explaining the elaborate, artisanal process behind high-quality sake. In addition, our creative chef Masami Saito serves an impressive food pairing, which is exactly matched to the respective sake of the different courses.Ms. Ueno-Müller knows what she is talking about: she is considered the most renowned expert on the subject of Japanese sake in the German region, has received several awards, including "Mistress of Sake-Tasting". For this tasting, we have planned together with her some special and new drops, including the sensational, wonderfully soft dessert sake Katsuyama "GEN" and the excellent, but just affordable Dassai 39. In addition, we introduce a new sake brewery IKEKAME and want to ask the opinion of our customers about a particularly dry sake, the Imayo Tsukasa Black.
