Kaiseki event

Kaiseki is the absolute Haut Cuisine of Japan, which is served authentically only in very few Japanese restaurants in Germany.

We occasionally organize single evenings where you can experience real Kaiseki in Munich. Dates are always booked up within a few hours, therefore subscribe to the newsletter if you are interested.

Sake Tasting

Sake is actually the drink of the gods! The high-quality premium sake, which you can get at our restaurant sansaro, are true wonders of aroma. The best varieties are enjoyed chilled and consciously. Our tasting events explain production, history & we taste with food pairings.

Whisky Tasting

In addition to fine Japanese cuisine, the sushi restaurant sansaro offers an extensive selection of outstanding, Japanese whisky. In our whisky tastings we introduce you to the high-proof world of Japanese whisky.

Gin Tasting

New since 2019: we now host our exclusive food pairing events to Japanese gin - we taste some exclusive Japanese gin varieties and enjoy a special creation from our kitchen with each gin. Just the right thing for a hot summer!

Sushi course

SUSHIYA is our company name and the Japanese word for "sushi store". Together with a few brave friends, former Japanology student Alexander Reinelt founded SUSHIYA in 2005 to offer high quality Japanese food at a fair price in Munich. sansaro is the name of our restaurant in the Amalienpassage and means "3-way-crossing": here paths come together, here you can meet Japan and enjoy an authentic interpretation of Japanese cuisine.
