SUSHIYA sansaro | Sushi & fine Japanese cuisine in Munich

Sansaro
Japanese Sushi Restaurant Munich

Japanese cuisine is considered one of the most sophisticated and healthy in the world. In our restaurant sansaro in the heart of Schwabing we offer a high-quality interpretation of Japanese food and culture - with us you can get closer to Japanese quality. Because good food should not only make you full, but also satisfied.

IN THE CENTER IN SANSARO:
SUSHI MAKI, NIGIRI & GUNKAN

We offer sushi of a quality rarely found outside Japan. Our secret: high quality ingredients, even very much organic, prepared by experienced Japanese chefs. Because the best sushi is characterized not only by fresh fish, but also by the right rice and the handling of all other ingredients. The menu in the restaurant sansaro offers besides sushi and sashimi but also selected specialties of the warm cuisine, significantly more than usual in a sushi restaurant in Japan.

QUIET COURTYARD LOCATION
IN THE HEART OF MAXVORSTADT

The sansaro restaurant in Munich is a place where people come together to enjoy fine Japanese cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Like our food, the restaurant is an authentic interpretation of Japanese architecture: clean lines, light and shadow, warm wood tones. Large groups can dine at a long table or you can strike up a conversation with other guests; tatami seats allow you to sit on rice straw mats, just like in Japan. A wooden floor and an atmospheric lighting concept round off the Japanese clarity of the room with inviting warmth. In summer, enjoy the atmosphere in the middle of the Amalienpassage between our Japanese fan maples on our terraces. Details on the various seating options can be found here.

Menu

Japanese cuisine, and sushi in particular, is subject to completely different quality standards than anything we know in the West: While the Japanese invest about 25% of their income for food and groceries, in Germany only about 8% are spent. We try to make the high Japanese quality available to our customers in Munich at a fair price. However, we are not only concerned with delicious food, but also with the fascinating, deep Japanese culture. By the way: our beverage menu contains an incomparable selection of interesting drinks, which make the complexity and depth of the Japanese culture directly enjoyable on the palate. In particular, try our selection of Japanese sake, the wonderfully aromatic rice wine, or treat yourself to a taste of some of the legendary Japanese whisky, including many rarities sought after worldwide.
