The old pond:
A frog jumps in.
Oh!
The sound of the water.
Trip to Japan - the summer begins
Finally, we can respond more to the season in the sansaro restaurant and offer our guests new menus time and again.
Japanese cuisine is considered to be one of the most sophisticated, healthy and varied cuisines in the world. Since 2007, the sansaro restaurant has stood for an authentic interpretation of Japanese cuisine at the highest level. Every day we strive to take care of every guest anew, to honor the dignity of the ingredients and the rich culinary tradition of Japan.
Like our food, the restaurant is an authentic interpretation of Japanese architecture: a simple space with clean lines, warm wood tones, no frills. At a long table, larger groups can dine or you can get into conversation with other guests - in the spirit of the name "sansaro" (three-way intersection), people should be able to come together here. On tatami places you can sit on rice straw mats without shoes like in Japan. In summer on our terraces you can between japanese fan maples without car noise in the middle of the Amalienpassage sit.
Japanese cuisine is much more than sushi - it is a world of its own! But for it to taste Japanese, the basics have to be right. The basis for this is usually the Japanese soup fund dashi. We make our own dashiso that you can find the Japanese taste of umami in miso soup and other dishes. From January 2024, we will be reducing our standard menu and offering seasonally changing small dishes or menus in the restaurant. Our tip is always to get involved with the menu. In addition, you can immerse yourself in the world of aromatic Japanese sake or outstanding Japanese whisky enjoy

Our "Journey to Japan in January" menu was such a great success with many guests that we decided to offer it to them as well.
